Already have an accountant or books? Moving is easier than you think
We do not ask you to start from zero or to let anyone go overnight. Here are the three cases and what we do in each.
You have a part-time accountant visiting monthly
We take the entry and the close off their hands, and they stay — if you want — on review and advice. We ask them for the latest trial balance and the chart of accounts, and we pick up from the end of the last closed month.
Your books live in Excel
We take your files as they are and build a chart of accounts and opening balances from them. What is missing we fill from the bank statements; what is duplicated we clean before the first entry.
You already run accounting software
We take an export of balances and of customer and supplier statements, and start from an agreed date — your old data stays where it is; we delete nothing and hold nothing back.
What we need from you to start
When we migrate and when we start clean
If your books are closed and sound, we migrate the balances and carry on from where you stopped. If previous years are unclosed or inconsistent, we start from an agreed clean date and deal with the backlog separately afterwards — because building on doubtful books repeats the error rather than fixing it.
Opening your books and migrating balances sit inside the subscription: no setup fee and no opening-books fee. A backlog of previous years is quoted separately after we look at it, and you get the number before we start.
