Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, who can access it, and how you retrieve or delete it. It covers the Tadween Qatar website and the accounting service itself.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
Business data (name, commercial registration, address, tax number) · contact details of its representative (name, mobile, email) · the financial documents you upload (invoices, receipts, bank statements, contracts) · in-system usage data (when a document was uploaded, who reviewed it, when it was approved). From the website: what you type into the contact form, and campaign parameters (utm) if you arrived through a tagged link.
3. Why we collect it
To deliver the contracted service: reading your documents, booking their entries, producing and archiving your reports · to contact you about your file · to improve service quality · and to comply with Qatari law on the retention of books and records.
4. AI and the processing of your documents
We use AI models to read document images, extract their fields and prepare the proposed entry, and to run the agent that answers questions from your books. That means document content is sent to the processing provider for extraction and answering only. Three written commitments: (a) your documents and data are never used to train public AI models; (b) no entry is posted to your books by an automated decision — approval is always human; (c) the original extraction is stored beside the corrected one so the trail stays complete. You may ask for specific documents to be excluded from automated processing and handled manually.
5. Who can access your data
The accountant assigned to your file, technical support when you ask for help, and the technical providers we rely on to run the platform and process documents, under confidentiality agreements. We do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing purposes.
6. Retention
We retain your books and documents for the duration of your subscription, consistent with the ten-year book-retention obligation in Qatari commercial law. Contact-form data is kept for as long as it takes to follow up your enquiry, then archived or deleted on request.
7. Your rights: export, correction, deletion
At any time you may request: a full export of your books, reports and archive · correction of inaccurate data · deletion of your data after the contractual relationship ends, to the extent legal retention obligations allow. Send requests to info@tadween.qa; we respond within business days.
8. Analytics and cookies
The site loads no analytics or tracking tool before your explicit consent on the consent bar. If you accept, we may use a measurement tool (such as Google Analytics) to see which pages are visited and which campaign a visitor came from — never linked to your identity or your documents. You may decline and the site works in full with no tool at all. We also keep campaign parameters (utm) in your browser during your session so we know where an enquiry came from.
9. Security
Encrypted data transfer, role-limited access, separation of each business's data from every other, and regular backups. We claim no international security certification that we do not hold.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date at the top always shows the latest version. If a change is material we notify you by email or inside the system.
